Miss Havisham Evaulation

Miss Havisham Evaluation

Overall I was very happy with my Miss Havisham final looks.  Although it was challenging, I really enjoyed tackling continuity.  It was the first time I had ever had to do a continuity look and I felt I did a good job at recreating my Miss Havisham look.

If I was to recreate this look again, I would maybe change my design slightly.  I think I could’ve done a more challenging look.  I could’ve added some more special effects such as cuts or bruises, however, I decided to go with less is more.  I do feel my design was effective and my model posed well for the photographs.  I went for a sad, lonely look and she pulled faces to suit these emotions.

Although my model was great, I would choose a different for next time because she had bright red hair.  She offered to dye it for me however, I thought it wouldn’t be fair to let her do that.  So to overcome this problem, I bought some grey coloured hairspray online.  This worked really well for my final look, but some red did show through on the pictures, which I tried to get the same on my second continuity image.

I was really pleased with the way I had blended all of my products into the skin.  There were no harsh lines and I made sure I covered my models neck and ears so the colour difference did not show up on camera.
