Blotchy skin and tears

Sweat/fever

Equipment

·         Supracolour palette

·         Gylcerine

Method

1.       Use your finger and some red from the supracolour palette and dab it where a person would become flushed during a fever.  I chose to put it on the forehead, cheeks and nose.  Be sure to apply it evenly and make sure it’s not too heavy and fake.

2.       Again, using your finger, apply some glycerine where a human would get sweaty.  I chose the forehead and bridge of the nose.

Tears

Equipment

·         Glycerine/tear stick

Method

1.       Use a cotton bud to apply the glycerine into the corner of the eye and let it drip down their face.  You could also apply some under the middle of the eye and let that tear drip down too.

2.       You could also use a tear stick which is a bit like vicks vapour rub.  Rubbing this underneath the eye can help the model produce tears and can make the eye look bloodshot.
